Clay Pipe Music welcomes back Oliver Cherer with a new Gilroy Mere album, Furlongs, inspired by the landscape and paintings of Eric Ravilious. Much of it was written on daily train journeys along the foot of the South Downs, past the Long Man of Wilmington, and recorded at his studio in St Leonards.

Tracks such as Beachy Head, Chalk Paths and Hope Gap are tributes to well-known Ravilious works and places. Oliver also plays with Hastings group Aircooled and has toured with the Miki Berenyi Trio. He is joined on stage by Hutch Demouilpied, Riz Maslen, Maria Marzaioli, Darren Morris and Helen Edwards.
