Celebrating our multicultural community, bringing people together through food & music

Join us for a full day of global flavours, vibrant music, and community connection – with two separate events, in one big joyful day of celebration!



1. COMMUNITY FEAST | 1:30–3PM
Tickets: £5
Enjoy a delicious spread of community-cooked global cuisine, freshly prepared on the day at the Community Chef’s kitchen in Lewes, led by Robin Van Creveld.

We warmly invite members of the community to take part in preparing the meal and sharing dishes from different cultures

All cooking will happen on-site at the community kitchen in Lewes, with Robin supervising and supporting contributors.

2. EVENING CONCERT | 4pm - 7pm
Tickets: £10 adults / £5 children
Experience the electrifying sounds of Ansumana Susso, Gambia’s renowned kora player, performing live with his band for the people of Sussex – plus a DJ playing global beats, get ready to dance!

Open to all – under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
