Event Date: Sun - 1 Nov 2026

Event Time: 10:00 am

Location: Madeira Drive (finish), Brighton seafront

A 60-mile run for veteran cars built before 1905, from Hyde Park in London to Madeira Drive on Brighton seafront. It is a run, not a race, and commemorates the Emancipation Run of November 1896.

The cars set off from Hyde Park from 7am. They start arriving at the finish on Madeira Drive from about 10am, and slower cars can be as late as 4.30pm. A paddock on Madeira Drive lets you see the vehicles up close behind safety barriers.

The route runs through Surrey and Sussex lanes and villages. A spectator route guide is on the organiser's site.
