A scintillating talk by David Allam of Bishopstone
Step back into the drama of 1821 as David recounts the chaotic Coronation of King George IV
and the extraordinary attempts of his estranged wife, Queen Caroline, to force her way into
Westminster Abbey during the ceremony. The talk is richly illustrated with items relating to
both the King and Caroline.
