Supported by Mankind Eastbourne and special guests, join us for an open and honest conversation about Men's Mental Health and find out where to get the support you need.

Mankind was set up in January 2020 by local Eastbourne-based friends Ian Pickard and Paul Roskilly to help support men who may need mental-health support or just someone to talk to without judgement.

Eastbourne and District Samaritans, Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.

The Eastbourne Shed project, where people aged 50+ can experience the joy and fun of pottering about in a shed, but doing it with like-minded people, supplying good company.

Veterans' Growth, a charity dedicated to helping ex-service personnel who are suffering from mental health issues. They offer horticultural therapy and support.

John Cole ‘Shadow Boxers’. Join professional photojournalist John Cole as he discusses his latest project, a celebration of arguably the last great era of club fighting in New York. The world of real-life Rockys, a hard masculine world where a man had a chance to fight his way to fame and glory.

Marco Barboza (Peru). Lawyer, philosopher, and musician with extensive experience in understanding, reflecting, and intervening on health issues. He has served as Secretary of the Council of Ministers of Peru.
