A Valentine's Day concert with a classy difference. The London Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates Romantic composers who let their imaginations run wild, painting landscapes in sound.

The afternoon features brother and sister Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, with Felix's Scottish Symphony taking listeners on a tuneful tour of the Highlands. The orchestra's Principal Clarinet, Benjamin Mellefont, is the soloist in Spohr's concerto, by a composer whose contemporaries rated him alongside Beethoven. Conductor Shira Samuels-Shragg is the LPO's Fellow Conductor for 2026/27.
