Being online is now essential for everyday life - from managing finances and housing, to accessing health services, staying in touch with family and friends, and finding reliable information. But technology is always changing, and not everyone has the devices, data, or confidence to use it.
Lewes District Citizens Advice in partnership with Tech Resort CIC, and funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology's Digital Inclusion Innovation fund, is offering free local drop-in sessions to help you build digital skills, access advice, and feel more confident doing everyday tasks online. With practical support from trained volunteers and TechResort staff, you can get hands-on help, learn to use digital tools safely, and access advice when you need it.
Digital Support - We provide hands-on support with phones, tablets, and computers to help you use technology safely and confidently. Our trained volunteers, working alongside TechResort staff, will help you access online services for benefits, health, and everyday life, and stay connected with friends, family, and your community.
Advice First Aid - Our professionally trained volunteers can guide and signpost you to reliable services covering housing, benefits, debt, employment, and cost-of-living support. By combining AFA with digital skills support, we aim to give you early guidance before problems escalate and empower you to manage tasks independently.
If you don't have the right device or internet access, we may be able to help you access one.
