Welcome Aboard: 200 Years of the Newhaven to Dieppe Ferry

Newhaven Museum is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Newhaven-Dieppe Service with a special exhibition.

This celebration features tales of the many famous (and infamous) people who have travelled on the service, the accidents and mishaps that occurred, the role of the ferries during both World Wars, and the story of the last British-manned ferry on the route.

You will see models, memorabilia, photographs and artworks, together with a film spanning 90 years of the service. We would love to hear your stories too, so please share them with us at the exhibition.

Newhaven Museum is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11am - 4pm until 25th October. You can find us next to Paradise Park. Adults £3, Children and members free.
