Step inside Lewes Town Hall on Heritage Open Day, Sunday September 13th, to explore the stories that make the historic town of Lewes, unique.
In partnership with the Cluniac Network, history will 'come alive' demonstrating medieval life at Lewes Priory of Pancras in the Yarrow Room through sights, sounds, and hands-on activities.
While the Council Chamber and Mayor's Parlour provides a chance to try on councillor's robes and hats, and to pose for a mayoral portrait.
Friendly volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the building's history and its role in the town today.
Free entry, with the cafe open for refreshments. Sunday September 13th from 11am to 4pm.
