Preparations are getting underway for Seaford Natural History Society and Seaford Action for Nature to launch an exciting new venture – and you can be involved!

We are planning a launch event for the project on Saturday 18 July. There will be wildlife activities at Seaford head and around the town. We will also be welcoming well-know local ecologist Michael Blencowe to give a talk at Seaford Baptist Church at 2.15

During this afternoon there will be time for networking, and to visit stands of various other local organisations so that you can find out more about the projects going on around our town.

This project needs your help! It needs every one of us, beginner to expert, to be looking out for wildflowers and wildlife in our town, and using irecord or other recording tools to make sure we get a full picture of the biodiversity in our town. This will give us a full picture of the green corridors and highways – including nature reserves, public green spaces, community and private gardens, window boxes, on verges, allotments, churchyards and even pavement edges.
Schedule is below, booking via Eventbrite is recommended, full details are now available on the Renaturing Seaford website bookings page
